- Mentoring new Imago therapists and Educators
- Providing peer-supervision and consultation
- Providing Couples’ groups – one for clinicians and one for alumni of the GTLYW workshops
- Establishing an Imago House-a centre to house many Imago therapists and large enough to hold trainings and resources
Statement of Core Values and Principles:
Imago BC members understand that we are all connected, and accept the challenge and gift of experiencing our connection as we interact with each other. Members embrace the belief that when we foster human connection, growth and healing occurs, and we feel fully alive.
We value a guiding principle that our work is the relational process of Imago Relationship Therapy.
We value original wholeness, which is the innate ability of human beings to change their environment by learning to grow and heal in a relational model.
Imago BC invites member collaboration by utilizing Intentional Dialogue and Communologue as our communication process to promote safety, understanding and empathy.
Imago BC promotes policies and practices for the provision of accessible, competent, and accountable relational counselling and educational services throughout the human lifespan in a manner sensitive to the diverse religious and spiritual preference, sexual orientation, ethnic, cultural and national origins of its clinical and non-clinical members.
We value sound administrative and financial management producing a viable association.
We operate inclusively, valuing the voices of all Imago members in BC.
We understand the importance of participation and strive to ensure that meetings include a variety of activities and approaches designed to promote continued interest.
