Interested in Becoming an Imago Therapist?
Imago Relationship Therapy, as developed by Harville Hendrix (Oprah’s favourite
couple’s counsellor!), has helped thousands of couples restore the connection in
their relationships.
Here’s your chance to learn how to help couples achieve
these kinds of breakthroughs.
The Basic Clinical Training consists of 96 hours of education
and will be offered in Vancouver beginning in January 2012,
in three four-day blocks. The training will be taught by two extraordinary Imago
faculty members: Rebecca Sears and Ben Cohen (more on the next page)
Who should take this training?
Psychologists, counsellors ,psychiatrists,
and those in the process of becoming licensed.
The training is open to any mental health professional interested in learning the theory
and skills developed by Dr. Harville Hendrix. The model has deepened and expanded
over the years, and continues to be on the cutting edge of relationship therapies. You
will get a solid training in the basics of Imago theory and practice, and learn the latest
advances and techniques of this dynamic approach.
You will be able to present yourself as a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, and
get referrals from the Imago Institute. In addition, you will be entering a vibrant world-
wide community of therapists dedicated to the advancement of this work, and have all
the support and advanced training opportunities that this offers.
Level 1 is the 96 hour course. For those who wish to become certified an additional
Level II is required which consists of six months of supervision.
Clinical Training Dates
January 9-12, 2012 (Monday to Thursday)
March 12-15, 2012
Session III: June 4-7, 2012
[Each day of every session begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.]
Cost of Training:
Level 1:$3,000 Canadian (includes $750 deposit to Imago Relationships International)
Level II: Approximately $600

Ben has presented more than 60 “Getting The Love You Want” couples
workshops, Ben was recently featured with Dr. Harville Hendrix on a DVD
entitled “Imago Connects: From Conflict to Connection”.
Ben has been in private practice in Boulder and Denver since 1992, specializing
in couples counselling and relationship issues with individuals. He has extensive
experience teaching and training, including 10 years as Adjunct Faculty at the
Naropa University, and Training Director at the University of Colorado. Ben is
